Lake Oswego constructed this pumping station as part of a new water treatment plant. Located in the Clackamas River near its confluence with the Willamette, it provides up to 30 million gallons a day to the nearby water treatment plant. It includes carefully constructed screens and modifications of the river channel to protect small salmon during their migration. A decorative fence and gate were built on the neighborhood side to help it blend in with the adjacent residential area.
